Robin Sings

Robin bird returns in spring
When the stubborn snows still cling
Trees will shake the burden off
Robin comes to end the trough

Grass will try to pierce dead snow
Days remember sun aglow
Wind invites me for a jaunt
Robin sings because you won’t

Deep in lingering despair
Long forgot to gasp for air
Hearts in rage, still float in frost
Robin sings when all is lost

Listen to the small immortal
It puts soul into a ghost
